Quarterly Technology Release – Q4 2023

DemandBridge is excited to report some of the many developments we have been working on this past quarter, related to product enhancements and new integrations. We strive to provide constant improvements to products, services, and customer support.

In this quarterly review, we’ll feature highlights from the EQ Distributor and DB Commerce platforms as well as introduce our new internal Scribe tool:

  • Introducing EQ Distributor v13 – The new client app has all the benefits of our current hosted solution – securely stored data, frequent backups, automatic program and licensing updates, user access from any location – but with the increased usability of a locally installed program.
  • Announcing the Integration of DB Commerce and CHILI Publisher Online: Unlocking Enhanced Capabilities for DemandBridge Customers – We are delighted to announce the successful completion of the integration between DB Commerce and CHILI publisher Online, marking a significant milestone that will bring the advanced capabilities of the CHILI GraFx platform to our valued DemandBridge customers.
  • Introducing Scribe: Revolutionizing Internal Documentation for DemandBridge University – We are excited to announce the adoption of Scribe, a groundbreaking tool for our internal use at DemandBridge University. Scribe is set to revolutionize the way we create, manage, and access our documentation resources, significantly enhancing our efficiency and providing quicker access to valuable documentation for our customers.

Introducing EQ Distributor v13!

This application is a true client-server model. This means the user-end EQ Distributor program is stored and accessed on each user’s local machine, for ease of use and access, but the data is centralized, stored, and transmitted securely over the internet.

The new client app has all the benefits of our current hosted solution – securely stored data, frequent backups, automatic program, and licensing updates, and user access from any location – but with the increased usability of a locally installed program. Your users can work from literally anywhere with the app installed and an internet connection. This application will not require the user to connect via a remote desktop login.

There are only a few minor screen/user changes within the EQ Distributor program. Once the company’s data has been moved to the new model, existing users can install the app, make a few configurations, and then log in and continue using the software exactly the same way they always have.

Customer Process Outline:

  • Install the workstation/app (windows only)
  • Install and configure networking and printing
  • Migrate data to new cloud database
  • Once data is converted, contact with EQ support to confirm successful transfer
  • Existing users log in

Announcing the Integration of DB Commerce and CHILI Publisher Online: Unlocking Enhanced Capabilities for DemandBridge Customers

We are delighted to announce the successful completion of the integration between DB Commerce and CHILI Publisher Online, marking a significant milestone that will bring the advanced capabilities of the CHILI GraFx platform to our valued DemandBridge customers.

CHILI Publisher Online is securely hosted within the Microsoft Azure Cloud infrastructure and expertly managed by our trusted partners at CHILI Publish. This strategic collaboration not only grants us access to the immense scalability of their cutting-edge Software as a Service (SaaS) platform but also ensures that we remain seamlessly aligned with their ongoing automatic updates. Consequently, we will continuously have access to all the latest features without any additional effort required on our part.

One notable outcome of this integration is the newfound ability of DB Commerce to leverage GraFx Studio, an innovative Smart Template editor designed for the creation of dynamic and animated digital content. Please note that Scribe is an internal tool for our use at DemandBridge University. Our clients will not be using Scribe directly. However, we are excited to inform you that Scribe enables us to create and provide documentation resources to you more efficiently and promptly.
